WIND POWER SOURCE

A wind turbine produces electricity using wind. Its force actuates the blades of the rotor, which sets in motion an alternator.

ELECTRICAL SOURCE PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL

Photovoltaic solar energy is obtained by the energy of the sun's rays. More precisely, the principle is to transform the energy carried by the photons in the light, into electricity. This is why the photovoltaic panels that will harvest them are often installed on roofs, with the best possible orientation. This is where the photovoltaic cell comes into play. Made of silicon, when exposed to light, it absorbs the energy of light photons.

ENERGY CONVERSION

There is a whole bunch of different converters! Big ones, small ones, heavy ones, light ones, ventilated ones, passive ones... however they all work on the same principle: thanks to electronic filters, they transform direct voltage into alternating voltage. It is on the quality of the alternating voltage obtained that we will differentiate the converters.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

The objective is to develop an energy management algorithm for a fleet of so-called “active” controllable PV or wind generators with a view to minimizing the economic cost of electricity production; a maximum power point tracking algorithm. The proposed method predetermines the production profile of the generators so as to achieve a global optimization in a well-detailed rule programming such as;
